Why Learning Leaders Exists

I founded Learning Leaders because I believe leadership has the power to transform not just organisations, but the lives of the people within them. Great leadership inspires, guides, and creates the conditions for growth. Yet I have also seen how challenging it can be to lead with clarity and confidence when pressures mount and change feels relentless.
My mission is simple: to equip leaders in education and beyond with the tools, strategies, and support they need to succeed — not just for themselves, but for the communities they serve.
My Story

I have spent over two decades working in education, holding leadership roles at school, trust, and system level. Most recently, I served as a Deputy Director of Education, working alongside schools and trusts to raise standards, build leadership capacity, and shape long-term strategy.
Through these experiences, I have seen the difference that skilled, thoughtful, and courageous leadership makes. I have also seen how lonely and demanding leadership can be. Learning Leaders was born out of a commitment to walk alongside leaders, offering both challenge and support, and helping them thrive in complex and changing contexts.

Looking Ahead
Learning Leaders is more than a service — it’s a movement to elevate leadership across education. My vision is to help leaders not only meet today’s challenges, but to build the confidence and resilience to shape a better tomorrow.
